Pakistan will launch satellite in space in 2018

Air Chief Marshal Sohel Aman,Chief of the Pakistan Air Force, in the inaugural session of AirTek 17, held at the University of Islamabad, said that China is supporting Pakistan in the next generation of militants, satellite programs and manned space missions.

Aman told the audience, "Pakistan is working with Chinese experts to build the next generation of militants. China is also providing technical support for satellite launch. " The Pakistan Air Force is working to create 5th generation fighter under "Project Azam". In addition to supporting Pakistan during the future, Project Azam will make Pakistan self-reliant in the development of high standards of defense in its own technology and the Pakistan air industry will expand. ProjectAzam started officially in July.

About this, Aman said that 60 percent of the people working here will take five years to build a civilian and a militant. Under the project Azam, the Pakistan Aeronautical Complex (PAC) Aviation Design Institute (AVDI) has been given the responsibility of designing a "Medium-Altitude Long-Endurance (ML.E.E.) Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV)" (Medium-height Long Enduring Humane Aircraft).

Aman also said that the aircraft will be built within 18 months. Referring to the reduction of Pakistan's own industry and reliance on overseas supplies, again, it has been mentioned that it is a matter of concern Chief of the Air Staff said that a large majority of the Pakistan Air Force will be taken by Pakistan within 2020.  In addition to project Azam, the air force chief said that Pakistan is supporting Pakistan in the development of space.
